Capacity Analysis of Multicell CDMA Networks with Fast Power Control under Mutltipath Fading

چکیده
This paper presents a theoretical analysis of the intercell interference statistics and capacity of CDMA systems in a multipath environment where every multipath signal is affected by Rayleigh fading. The power control is assumed to be fast enough to compensate the rapid fluctuations of the radio channel due to multipath fading. Unlike many previous works, mobile users are assumed to connect to a base station on a minimum attenuation basis. The effect of the number of resolvable paths on system capacity is also investigated.
